But what I am talking about is a true definition of happiness that is bought to you by those surrounding you rather than you. If it was only yourself, then life would cease to continue cause most probably you would end up shooting yourself; it would be PLAIN! but ppl around us are who make our own life special.

At school, what really drags you up from that comfy, warm bed, is your friends at class that you enjoy spending time with; sometimes even your professor because you enjoy his class.

At work, with the endless accumulated tasks and not being appreciated for your hard work, what keeps you believing that things will be better, are the team you work with, the employee you enjoy spending time with, and surely the laughs that brings you up.

At home, life isn't life without knowing that you have a family, because then who really matter are very few friends, that won't always be there for you because they have a life of their own to live. But a family is always there for you, not matter whether you succeeded, flunked, cheated... they would stand by you, proud to have you as a daughter or son.

thanks to my family, friends.. thanks to those I might've met only once, but made a big difference in my life, even if it was only a smile....

Arab lives Vs Westerners

Many Arabs talk about the discrimination they receive at work or university in regards to hard working or being a spoiled brat. That is the main reason why many westerners don't take us seriously, which I am against as not all Arabs are lazy, but also agree with, as our lives, or to be more specific, the lives of the older youth generations (not our ancestors surely!) are based on pampering. When I talk about pampering, I mean many things: unlimited support from the government, unadequate education systems and smooth working expectations. Thus we are not overall expected to work our ass off, to prove ourselves.

That being said, my words don't emphasize that Arabs are lazy in many ways, but rather, the life given to us made us so, eventhough we can also say that it can be a personal attribute too.

The reason am talking about this topic is none would understand hard work until you truly go through one. Studying for the CFA has been by far the most intensive experience in my whole life, knowing that the rest is easy compared to this! A student ends up with NO personal life what so ever (excluding a 2 hours time every day, as you can't just keep going without it) and continuous study.

The exam is not considered HARD, but it teaches you to be committed to studying and in general to work and people.

2 months to go inshala till June's exam!

Blooming of a life

Life starts with curiousity and ends without truly understanding the reality of life. It is a life of search for one's self identity, a city's identity, and the world's identity; the search takes us into cycles of happiness, love, depression and sadness with its peak and trough.

To find one's life, one might have to travel, leave family and friends and integrate into a new community that eventhough is of no difference, yet provides many challenges to accomodate within the new society. With it, a life grows and an identity blooms to its fullest, yet alot is missed out, a trade off for the new experience; and this is my new life in the City of Abu Dhabi from the City of Dubai, where I lived, grew up and have my own society there, one that is familiar.

With Abu Dhabi comes a conservative life that I am not very well used to, yet it isn't harsh as the city gives you a relaxing atmosphere to live in. Once living in AD, you can understand why its citizens love it, especially for a person like myself coming all the way from Dubai. Abu Dhabi simply has its own magic, which i'll start to enjoy once am fully settled with a place to live in, which is a BIG issue, not because there aren't any places available but rather because investors are greedy and wouldn't care much about the quality given, but rather about the price.

So, here the new experience begins... May it go well.
